Azure

Microsoft's cloud computing platform that provides a wide range of cloud services, including computing, analytics, storage, databases, networking, and more.

Active Directory

Microsoft's identity and access management service, providing authentication and authorization for Azure and other Microsoft services.

App Service

A platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering for hosting web applications, APIs, and mobile backends.

Blob Storage

A type of Azure Storage that stores unstructured data, such as images, videos, and documents, in binary large objects (Blobs).

C

Cosmos DB

Cosmos DB: a globally distributed, multi-model database service designed for high availability and low latency.

DevOps

A set of development tools and services for building, testing, and deploying applications using CI/CD pipelines.

Functions

Azure Functions: A serverless compute service that allows you to run code in response to events without provisioning or managing servers.

Kubernetes Service (AKS)

A managed Kubernetes container orchestration service for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications.

Key Vault

A service for securely managing secrets, keys, and certificates, which can be used by other Azure services and applications.

Load Balancer

A service that evenly distributes incoming network traffic across multiple Azure resources to ensure high availability and reliability.

Logic Apps

A service for building and automating workflows and integrations between applications and services.

Portal

Azure Portal: the web-based interface for managing and configuring Azure resources.

Resource Manager (ARM)

A management service that enables you to provision, manage, and organize Azure resources in a declarative way.

SQL Database

A managed relational database service based on Microsoft SQL Server.

Site Recovery

A service that helps you orchestrate the replication, failover, and recovery of virtual machines and applications to a secondary site.

Virtual Machine (VM)

A virtualized instance of a computer running an operating system within Azure's infrastructure.

Virtual Network (VNet)

Isolated network environments within Azure, allowing you to control communication between resources and configure network settings.
